Resolution Passed A resolution was passed by the city council giving David Friel, civil defense director, authority to purchase certain material which can be used by the city from the Utah State Department of Health, Bureau of Surplus Property. The authority was given Mr. Friel after he reported that a 33 H.P. 125 volt generator to be utilized for stand-by service ser-vice for the communications service, could be purchased by the city for $100 from the Utah State Department of Health Bureau of Surplus Property.
