Show Art City Garden Club Makes Tour Of Some of Cities' Scenic Spots A few of Springville's at-' tractive flower gardens were visited by members of the Art City Garden Club and their partners, numbermg between fifty and sixty people, Monday evening. Included on the tour were the gardens of , Mr. and Mrs. Harold Jordan at 721 Canyon Drive; that of Mr. and Mrs. Ted Taylor, 719 East First South and that of Mr. and Mrs. VvUfred Gottfredson, 353 East Fourth South. Each one was different and lovely in every detail, officers of the club reported. re-ported. After the tour, the group met on the patio of the Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Gay home for a social so-cial evening. Special guests included Mrs. Mildred Ream, president of the Spanish Fork Garden Club and Mrs. Macksene Sterneckert also al-so of Spanish Fork. Mima Davidson arranged a beautiful floral centerpiece for the outdoor serving table fromi which light refreshments were served. In charge of arrangements for the evening were, Ida Lewis, chairman; LaRhea Twelves, Twel-ves, Wanda Taylor, Mary Ol-sen, Ol-sen, Nida Farrer, Venna Vincent, Vin-cent, Mary Maycock and Thel-ma Thel-ma Taylor. Next meeting of the club was announced for the first j Monday in August. |
