Show Open House Honors Couple Wed In SI. Temple Ceremony June 29 All settled in an apartment in Provo are New-, New-, veds Maurice Allan Hodson and his bride, the r Miss Ruth Beard of Levan. She is a l . I daughter nf tut- j .. . daughter of Mr. and Mrs Wo-odrow Wo-odrow Beard and the groom is a son of LeRoy A. Hodson of Springville. The couple exchanged wedding wed-ding vows in the Salt Lake Temple, Monday June 29, and were honored the same evening even-ing with an open house reception recep-tion at Levan hosted by the parents of the bride. Tuesday evening, the couple greeted Springville relatives and friends at an open house at the home of an uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs. William Bird, in Springville. The bride chose a lovely wedding wed-ding gown of nylon lace over taffetta entrain, with fingertip finger-tip veil and she carried a bridal brid-al bouquet of vanda orchids centered with a large orchid. She was unattended except for flower girls Lela Johnson and Connie Beard at the open house and friends served as attendants attend-ants at the reception in Levan. Lloyd Hodson did best man duties for his brother. Background music throughout through-out the evening was played on the concertina by Clarence Ligman of Provo. Sisters-inlaw served refreshments refresh-ments including Mrs. Phylis Hodson, Mrs. Gale Hodson and Mrs. Renore Hodson. At the guest register was Mrs. Alice Sudweeks, while Mrs. Effie Phillips, Mrs. Doris Phillips and Mrs. Myrtle Ligman Lig-man arranged the gifts assisted assist-ed by the gift bearers Steven Hodson, Jay Phillips and David Day. Both young people have attended at-tended Snow College and Maurice Mau-rice will be enrolled as a senior at the Brigham Young University Univer-sity next year. |
