Show Twelfth Wins Second Half Crown; PlayslMapleton Tonight for Title Twelfth ward won the second half basketball basket-ball title in Kolob stake M Men play by downing down-ing 11th ward 60 to 43, and thereby earned the right to play Mapleton Jirst tonight at 8 p.m. in the high school gym in a playoff game to determine the stake champion. cham-pion. Mapleton won the first half title. Following the game, presentation o awards to teams and individuals will be made. Other games played during the week saw Mapleton First down Second 51-48 in a close battle. The game was hard fought right down to the wire. Second put on a belated rally and came from a 39-25 deficit de-ficit to within 1 point, 49-48. Crandall and Canto were ejected ejec-ted from the game with only 6 seconds to go after being called for intentional fouling. The foul, being called on Crandall, gave Mapleton two free throws of which Jensen scored both to give Mapleton the 3-point margin. Canto hit 18 for the winners while Smith and Cook counted 13 each for the losers. In the other game, First forfeited for-feited to Mapleton Second.
