Show Coming. lvenlA . . . Koloc Camera Club Members of the Roloc Camera Cam-era Club will be entertained Saturday evening at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Omar Hansen. Film on Mental Illness Scheduled Townspeople are invited to see a 31-minute film which portrays the hopeful advances being made in the fight against mental illness, at the South Court room, City and County Building, Provo, next Monday evening. Time of the meeting is 7:30 p.m., and showing of the film will be followed by a talk by V. J. Nylane, executive director, direc-tor, Utah Assn. of Mental Health, who will discuss the incidence of mental health, its economic cost, and the human suffering incident to it and indicate in-dicate a solution suitable to Utah's needs. Home Culture Club Members of the Home Culture Cul-ture Club will hear a talk by Dr. Don C. Merrill of Provo on the heart, when they meet Friday afternoon at 3 p.m., at the home of Mrs. Ronald Thorpe. Building Benefit The Eleventh ward is sponsoring spon-soring a building benefit dinner din-ner this evening at 6:30 p.m., at the Junior high school, with the menu and the entertainment entertain-ment to feature a New Zealand theme. Members of the ward bishopric are in charge. VFW Auxiliary To revive interest in the reorganization re-organization of a Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary in Springville, a' meeting is announced an-nounced for next Tuesday evening, February 25, at 8 p. m., at the club rooms of Memorial Mem-orial Hall. District officers will be in attendance to discuss organization or-ganization plans and to answer ans-wer questions. Women whose husbands, sons or brothers served ser-ved outside the continental United States during any emer- gency, are eligible to join and everyone interested in the organization or-ganization is invited to become charter members. |
