Show Public. to Pay, Honnold Says. (Chicago Tribune Special Service.) CHICAGO, Dec. 12. The public must pay the price of settlement In the cool strike to the extent of at least 35 cents a ton for bituminous coal. This Is the added cost of mining and handling bituminous coal under the 14 per cent lncreasO, according to F. C. Honnold, secretary of tho Illinois Coal Operators' Op-erators' association.
