Next month he will go east to swap them. He should be able to get five or six good players in return. lie could use a couple of infielders and outfielders, out-fielders, two or three pitchers and possibly possi-bly a catcher. When Brown and Pertica have passed into the big leagues the Amrol pitching staff will lie reduced to Crandall. Fittery. Aldridge and Srluilrz. a nucleus of experienced men. around which a strong staff can rig built. With Ro? on the retired list, the catching staff consists of Bassler and a couple of youngsters of unknown quantity. |
