Show State Has Good Chance to Win Trophy and Honor, Officials Declare. Officials of the Utah Public Health i association are greatly interested in the i newa from New York that a contest has been started nationally between states for a modern health crusade silver cup. This cup has been offered by a friend of children, who desires to be nameless, but who Is a man of national prominence, whose name Is known wherever health is a prominent part of a state's work. Inasmuch aa Utah is the only state in the country which has had the foresight to adopt the health crusade as a part of the school curriculum, and since the crusade cru-sade has been such a tremendous success so far throughtout the state, there is little lit-tle doubt in the minds of the heads of the association that Utah will have by far the best showing of any state in the union to capture the cup. I The following story on the cup and the .it est has been sent out from New York: "Modern health crusaders will have a 1 nice to compete for a beautiful and costly silver cup, according to an announcement an-nouncement from headquarters of the National Na-tional Tuberculosis association, New York. A friend of children, who believes tnat every boy and girl in America should be a crusader, has offered to the national association this cup, to be awarded as a trophy of victory for the schools of the winning state. The competition is to be known as the interstate cup contest. The children mted in it must be crusaders, with the rank of knight banneret, earned during t ne present school year. This rank is given for the faithful performance of the eleven health chores, such as brushing: the i teeth daily, washing hands, neck and el- I bows, regular bathing, sleeping with win- ; tiows open, etc., for fifteen .weeks. j 'The cup is to be presented to the public health association which acts as director for the crusade in the winning .te. It is to be held for one year, en another competition will be conducted. con-ducted.
