Show PANTHER SECONDS BEATEN BY SAINTS The L. D. S. U. - seconds yesterday trimmed the West high Panther dlngllngs by an 18-to-12 score at the Deseret gymnasium. gym-nasium. Neither team displayed much spirit, and very little teamwork was In evidence. At tho close of the first half the score stood 10 to 8 In favor of the west slders. Three Panthers were substituted at the beeliutine of the second period. The newcomers scored but one field goal during dur-ing the rest of the game, and It was, therefore, quite easy for the Saints to come off victorious. Piercey and Cowley for the Saints, and Tom Mackay for the Panthers, made the best showing. Tonight the West high seconds will go to Garfield and engage In a hoop contest with the high school team there. The following men will make the trip: Sam Lester, Alex Escandon, Ralph Jenson, Johnson, Tom Robinson, Dick Williams and Grant Ridd. Yesterday's lineup and summary: WEST HIGH SECONDS. Fd.G. Fr.T.
