Show RALPH HENKEL IS CALLED TO DUTY AS NAVAL RESERVE Ralph Henkel, son of Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Henkel, has been called to duty by the United States Navy to work at Mare Island, California. A member of the Naval Reserve, he has been assigned to "ship fitting" on vessels ves-sels wh:eh have been recently ordered commissioned for service. Mr. Henkel, accompanied by his wife and daughter, Patsy, left Saturday with Mr. and Mrs. Leo Thorne and Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Henkel, who traveled with them as far as Wendover. Mr. Henkel served six years in the navy, the last three years of which he was stationed in Cnina. After his discharge three years ago, he returned home to receive employment with the Utah Copper company. r |
