Show GALENA DAYS TO BE 1940FEATURE Decision to sponsor Bingham Canyon's Galena Days again next year was made by the junior chamber of commerce at their regular monthly meeting Monday Mon-day evening. A meeting of the Galena Days committee has been called for next Monday to lay groundwork for another successful success-ful civic celebration in 1940. Secretary S. J. Granquist was instructed to send letters to all who contributed in maKing ua-lena ua-lena Days a success, thanking them for their cooperation. Elliott W. Evans made a financial fi-nancial report on the celebration. All but a few of the entertainment entertain-ment events cleared enough for expenses connected with their presentation, Mr. Evans' report showed. Reports on the annual Utah State junior chamber of commerce com-merce convention held in Logan the forepart of September were made by Elliott W. Evans and C. C. Colyar. Mr. Evans, who has served as a state director the past two years, relinquished this position because the constitution and bylaws by-laws prohibit a member holding the same post over two years in succession. Leland G. Burress was named to succeed him. Following the regular business meeting, the board of directors acted upon applications of three men for membership.
