Show Proof of Citizenship Ends ' Bingham Registration Law Case. Special to The Tribune. BINGHAM, Dec. 3. The case of A. C. Cole, Dan V. Coakley and Sam Feroco, charged with violating the registration laws, came to an abrupt termination today, to-day, when the state moved for a dismissal. dismis-sal. The chnrge agninst Mr. Cole and Mr. Coakley was that they induced Feroco to register illegally, and the charge against Feroco was that he registered illegally. il-legally. Mrs. Agnes Wilcox swore to the complaints. At the request of the state today, Feroco Fer-oco produced his naturalization papers, which showed him to be a citizen. lie obtained ob-tained citizenship while serving his country coun-try in France. The papers were not delivered de-livered to him by the government until December 3, this year, although they had been on file at Washington since November Novem-ber 13, 1D1 S. It was on this showing that the action was dismissed. When Feroco attempted to register for the recent election, Mrs. Wilcox, who was a registration agent, refused him the privilege. Mr. Cole and Mr. Coakley vouched for him and .the charges followed. fol-lowed. A similar case against Francis "W. Quinn and Besso Zan was continued. Zan's certificate of citizenship is said to be on file in Washington, and as soon aa it is produced, this case also will be dismissed. |
