C William Carlisle, Car-lisle, train bandit captured yesterday after af-ter being shot in the riht lung by Sheriff Sher-iff A. gs. As soon as he has recovered, it was said he probably will be . returned to the state prison at Laramie to serve out his unexpired un-expired term 'of fifty years. A statement purporting to come from Carlisle that he was unarmed, was repudiated repu-diated tonight by Dr. L. W. Story, his physician. phy-sician. Sheriff Roach asserted the bandit ban-dit was armed. "T shot Carlisle because T believed he was reaching for a gun he had in his pocket when we captured him. 1 did not propose to take any chaiK'ts of being killed by this bandit,'" declared Alonzo .S.
