Show PUPILS HOni unm n President George , H. Brim-hall Brim-hall Observes Sixty-seventh Sixty-seventh Birthday. Special to Tlte Tribune. PROVO, Dec. 9. In celebration of tlte 5xty-seventh birthday anniversary of President George H. Brimhall of the Brig-ham Brig-ham Young university, an interesting program pro-gram was rendered in College hall today under the direction of the students. Georcre Ballff, a senior, was master of ceremonies. . In addition to President Brimhall, members of the faculty were present. ' The program consisted of musical numbers, num-bers, readings and felicitous addresses. A feature of the celebration was the appearance of sixty-seven children from the lower grades of the training school, who marched by President Brimhall to the strains of music, each presenting him with a flower. President Joseph Jarvis of the student body delivered an address of appreciation apprecia-tion upon the life and accomplishments of President Brimhall, and Miss Thelina Eggertsen. in a gracious speech in behalf of the student body, presented him wdth a bouquet of chrysanthemums. President Brimhall feelingly . responded to the sentiments of appreciation. The celebration closed with a selection by the B. Y. U. band. |
