Show PRISONERS TELL OF PUEBLO LYNCHING Frank Gibson. R. O. Kelley and W. A. Walker, arrested recently in Pueblo, Colo., arrived in Salt Lake yesterday in the custody of Deputy Sheriff William M. Hughes, having been extradited on a charge of grand larceny for the alleged theft of an automobile belonging to I r. P.. W. Born of Sandy. The car was taken from in front of the physician's residence in the early morning of August 2'?. The three men were in the Pueblo jail when Jose Gonzales and Salvadore Ortez. who murdered Patrolman Jeff Evans of Pueblo, were taken from the ja;l and lynched last Saturday night. Both Mexicans, Mexi-cans, they say, were knocked "unconscious before bein? taken out by the mob, which they say was beyond all control of tho peace officers.
