Show Grain Given Preference. CTTTCAGO. Pec. 25. An order giving grain preference over all other commodities commod-ities was issued today by R. P. Aishton. regional director of the nort hwpst, and Pale Wolden, regional dirctor of the central cen-tral west. It applies to all railroads tinder tin-der their juris !i'"u'on. The order followed complaints by grain men of the northwest and central west that thev were unable to mov1 crops on account 'of ear shortage, and will remain in force until the present crops have been distributed. Not onlv are crrain cars to have preference pref-erence on the riLTht of way, but they are to receive attention first in repair shops and e: tra forces to put bad order gra in cars in condition arc authorized by the orders. |
