Show WELFARE DISCUSSION SET FOR THURSDAY Representatives of the clubs, fraternal, civic and religious organizations of the city interested in the problems of child welfare will meet, at the city and county building Thursday at o'clock to further fur-ther formulate a definite program of action. The following program will Vo presented pre-sented for action : The strict o.i 1 force-men force-men of the curfew law; to sccuf-? punishment pun-ishment for the illegal sale of tobacco to minors; to secure strict observance of the pool hall ordinance; the enact-rfcent enact-rfcent of a new law to separate dance halls from toft drink parlors; to strengthen the juvenile court; to secure better cooperation of police and other authorities; and the formation of a central cen-tral executive committee to direct the furtherance of this program. Among the organizations which have been Invited to send representatives to the meeting are the Commercal club, Rotary club, Kiwanis club, the Salt Lake Kedfrnlon of Labor, the Knights of Columbus, Co-lumbus, the Y. W. C. A., the M. -I. A . the Magisterial association, the Catholic Women's club, the Klks, the M"ose. the P. O. K , the I. O. O. .F. and the presidents presi-dents of the stakes of the L. D. S. church. |
