Show NAILDRIVER CO. MAY BUY NEW YORK MINE Oeore K. Ford, who, a few years ago, was one of the directors of the New York Bonanza Mining company, was in Park City the first of the week, and, in company com-pany with John D. Fisher, visited the old New York, says the Park City Record. It is reported 011 good authority that a deal is being negotiated for the sale of the New York Bonanza holdings to the Naildriver people. This is quite likely, as tlie two properties are contingent. Work has started at the Park-Utah and is progressing nicely, with a force of about twenty men. General Manager George P. Blood, who is now in California, is expected ex-pected in the Park next week, when, perhaps, new work will be mapped out and the force increased. The date of delinquency and day of sale of the delinquent stock of the Iowa Copper company has been postponed one week. The stock will be delinquent next Monday and sold on October 11. The motor at the Iowa Copper burned out yesterday and mining operations will necessarily he suspended for three or four days. Manager Dave Scott says the face of the drift "looks good enough to eat," but as yet it will not assay. Because of preparatory plans being made at the Naildriver, work has been suspended on ore extraction, and consequently conse-quently there are no shipments to record. re-cord. Within the next two or three weeks the desired connections will be mad"1, resulting in renewed activity in ore development, and regular weekly shipments ship-ments can then be looked for. |
