Plans for the convention of the Utah State Association of Elks, to be held in Ogdcn next Friday and Saturday, were completed yesterday at a meeting of the Salt Lake lodge, according to Information given out by J. Kdward Swift, secretary. secre-tary. It is expected that more than 1000 members of the Salt Lake lodge will at-I at-I tend the convention. Arrangements have been made with tin; Bamberger Hlectrlc Railroad company com-pany to run a special train at S o'clock Friday morning. This train will arrive at Ogilen curly enough to allow the visiting visit-ing members an opportunity to attend tlio opening session to be held at 10 o'clock Friday morning at the Ogde.n lodge quarters. Round-trip tickets, costing cost-ing $l.oS. will be sold by the secretary or any member of tlio entertainment com- i mil tee. An open-house meeting will be held at 2 o'clock Friday afternoon. In the evening eve-ning the soldiers' friend commi ttee will ' entertain the members with a dance and a special musical program.
