Show Governor Davis Signs Bill Authorizing Bond Sale for This Purpose. Special to The Tribune. BOISE, Idaho, March 12. Governor Davis today 'signed the bill authorizing' the sale of $900,000 in state bonds to rais:e the necessary funds to build the two wings to the capitol here. Members of the Ada county legislative delegation and representative citizens were present at the time he attached his signature. Tiy the provisions of the bill the bonds are to be disposed of immediately to Ferris Fer-ris & HardgTove of Spokane, which firm offered 4 per cent interest at par and i accrued interest to date. The bonds mature ma-ture serially from ten to twenty years. Conditioner! upon construction work starting, Boise must purchase and deed to the state the approach property, which will be parked and boulevarded. The city "has already acted, and in April the people will be called upon to vote $1X5,000 in bonds with which to raise I the funds to buy the property. , The state highway commission decided I today to .push to completion this year the ! north and south highway, especially that portion of it between Grangaville and New Meadows. The commission held its last meeting, for, under the new administration admin-istration consolidation bill, it is abolished on and after March 31, and the department depart-ment oil- public works takes over its, duties. Close to two millions of dollars' will he expended by this department, and part of it will go on the north and south road connecting northern with southern Idaho.
