Premier Lloyd George, in addressing- the first meeting-today meeting-today of tho joint committee of employers employ-ers and employees constituted by the industrial in-dustrial parliament last week, sa id: "Civilization, unless we try to save it, may be precipitated and shattered to atoms. It can only be saved by the triumph tri-umph of justice and fair play to all classes alike." The premier warned the committee that it was the trustee of the welfare and safety of the whole nation.
