Show PANTHERS BATTLE LEOPARDS TODAY Rival Hoop Teams Clash Today for Second Time This Season. ljocal hoop fans may be sure of a real treat this afternoon when the Kast and West high school quints clash at the Des-ernt Des-ernt pymnasium at 5 o'clock. Both aggregations ag-gregations are in rood condition and the contest promises to be fast and furious. Today's game was originally scheduled to take place last January, but, due to the illness with the "flu" of Coach L. D. Briggs of the East high school, George A.j Eaton, supervisor of the two schools, had the battle postponed indefinitely to prevent the spread of the dread disease among the students. The last game in which these two schools participated was on February 2t; which resulted in a Leopard victory by the scsore of 2o to 16. Since then the Panthers have lost the services of Arnold De Wald, but nf the rate Marion Kalli-day Kalli-day has been playing lately, it is hardly probable that his going will prove any big handicap for tho west siders to overcome. over-come. Coach Heinie Richardson's charges staged a great comeback at Bingham last Friday against the Miners! The Panthers played the Binghamites off their feet, and it. was only due to the sensational basket-shooting basket-shooting of whitely that the local team was beaten.
