Show PILLETT AND COUCH JOIN SEALS' STAFF Special to The Tribune. SANTA CLARA. Cal.. March IS. Herman Her-man Pfllett and Johnny Couch, two of the new acquisitions of the Seal herd, pitched a couple of innings today in a Yannigan game on the college field. Both put lots of stuff on the ball, and Manager Graham Gra-ham appeared to be pleased with their work. The big evjnt of the day was a meeting of niercbants and business men of San Jose, at which it was agreed to make next Sunday a big day to try to bring in some big money at the front gate for (iff yetting the training expenses of the Seals. There will be ticket selling by pretty girls on the streets. ;ind the fans will be treated to a whole flock or" games.
