Show .SUITE GATHERING OF EAGLES CLOSES Convention at Ely, Nev., Is One of the Most Successful Ever Held in the West. Special to The Tribune. ELY, Nev., June 8. The second day's work in the state convention of the Fraternal Fra-ternal Order of Eagles was the most active ac-tive and interesting in the history of the rtate aerie. The most Important order of business completed was the election of state officers offi-cers for the ensuing year, which resulted as follows: Worthy President, John Olding of Car-son Car-son City; worthy vice president, N. Mr. Thompson was further selected to represent the state aerie at the next meeting of the jrand aerie. Lovelock has been selected as the next meeting place for the state aerie. Sightseeing trips to the great mines of the Nevada Consolidated Copper Cop-per company and the smelter at McGill have occupied considerable time, and last night the visitors were entertained at a smoker which was held in Bijou hall and the large building was taxed to its capacity. ca-pacity. An elaborate entertainment was provided pro-vided and lasted well into the early hours of the morning. The business was completed com-pleted today and closed with a grand ball given this evening.
