Show WORKERS THANK UTILITIES BOARD Since the state public utilities commission commis-sion requested the Utah bight &. Traction Trac-tion company to improve its car service in meeting trains - carrying Salt bake workmen from the Magna and Arthur mi lis of tho Utah Copper company, the business of transfer has become ' much belter, it was reported to the commission yesterday. The committee representing the complaining com-plaining workmen advised Judge Joshua Greenwood, president of the commission, that there had been such improvement in the street car service meeting these incoming trains that there was no longer any complaint from the mon, their transfer trans-fer being accomplished with the minimum mini-mum of delay. An inspector has been on duty at the Oregon Short Line station, sta-tion, it is stated, and the necessary tripper trip-per oars have been furnished to carry tho returning workmen. J ud go Greenwood says that also the service on the steam lines running to the , Arthur and Magna mills has been vastly improved since the railway officials and , the workmen inaugurated their helpful plan of co-operat ion for betterment. |
