Show TWO SEVERELY HURT li JUTT0ACC I DENT Car With Eight Occupants Plunges Down Embankment Embank-ment Near Bingham. Special to Tho Tribune. BINGHAM. Oct. 2. An automobile accident. ac-cident. In winch two men, one an American Ameri-can and the other a Greek, were severely injured, occurred at I) o'clock tonight when a- big eastbound car owned by tho New Auto Stage Eine company of Salt Iake City plunged down an embankment four miles east of llinghRm. At the point where the accident occurred oc-curred there is an embankment for some distance above and along the old Cop-pcrtleld Cop-pcrtleld mill dump. It always has been considered a dangerous place and drivers have been frequently warned regarding regard-ing it. There, were seven persons in the machine. ma-chine. In addition to the driver. Tom Sarakas, when It plunged down the embankment em-bankment and turned over. A telephone cull was sent to this place and a deputy sheriff obtained another machine and went to t lie scone of the wreck, accompanied accom-panied by Dr. lavid H. Ray. They found an unidentified American unconscious uncon-scious and suffering with a broken leg, and an unidentified Greek, also unconscious, uncon-scious, whose left cheek bone was crushed. Tho Injured men were at once conveyed con-veyed back to this place and placed under un-der the care of Pr. Ray. The other occupants oc-cupants of the car were bruised and severely se-verely shaken up, but none was badly Injured. One of the passengers was a woman. Her face was bruised, but she went on Into Salt Eake in another car that was supplied by the Star line. The other passct.ters also continued their journey to Salt Lake. The driver of the ill-fated car la snM to have disappeared Immediately after tho accident and Ids version of how the accident occurred was not obtained. The opinion was expressed by some of the occupant s of the car. however, that the steering ;re:ir went wronsr.
