Show FARMERS READY FOR ANNUAL INSPECTION Agriculturists to Make Trip and Also Prepare to Entertain Visitors .From South. OGDEX, July 21. Directors and members of the Webor County farm bureau, are making preliminary arrangements arrange-ments for their annual inspection trip aud also are planning for the entertainment entertain-ment of a large delegation of southern farmers' who will visit Ogden and "Weber county on August 2. No date has yet been fixed for the anniral excursion ex-cursion of the local farmers, but the trip this year will be made in Boxelder and Cache counties,' with possibly a slight journey over the line into southern south-ern Idaho. Last year the Weber farmers farm-ers visited Davis, Halt Lake and Utah counties on a two-day trip. Every man who made the 1916 trip is enthusiastic for another excursion this vear and is urging his friends to join. The trips are not only made a source of recreation but also of educational educa-tional benefit, for the farmers ascertain what agriculturists are doing in other parts of the state. The excursionists, who travel by automobile, visit industrial indus-trial plants as well as farms and livestock live-stock ranches. The farm bureau members from Beaver, Beav-er, Iron, Millard and Sevier counties will be in the annual excursion party that is to visit this locality on August 2. The southern farmers are making an extensive tour of three days' duration dura-tion and will go still farther north into Boxelder and Cache counties, after visiting vis-iting Weber county. In this city and county they will visit several industrial indus-trial plants and the two state schools, together with several of the best farms. |
