Show WILL GIVE BUILDINGS OFFICIAL INSPECTION A final official Inspection of the new cantonment buildings at Fort Douglas, which will house the Forty-second and Forty-third regiments, will be made this afternoon by Colonel Alfred Ilasbrouck, Major L. B. Simonds and Major W. C. Rogers, preparatory to moving the soldiers sol-diers into the new barracks. Work on the barracks is expected to be completed by Wednesday night, though j it Is not certain just when the water I connections and the installation of ranges can be completed. The new regimental commanders expect to be able to move Into their quarters before the end of this week, however. A carload of ranges for the new barracks bar-racks arrived in the city yesterday and these will be installed and connected up as quickly as possible. |
