Special to The Tribune. TOOELE, June 18. Funeral services were held in this city Friday for Mrs. Eliza Bevan Skelton, sister of State Senator Sen-ator Archibald Bevan, at the home of Senator Bevan. Bishop Edward Atkins officiated, and burial was in the Tooele cemetery. Mrs. Skelton was the wife of the late James P. Skelton and the mother of nine children, all of whom survive her. They are Mrs. A. G. Davidson of Anaconda, Mont.; Harold Skelton of Idaho, Clifford Skelton of Tooele, Mrs. Edward Bush of Salt Lake, Miss Mirl Skelton, Miss Edna Skelton, El wood Skelton and twin daughters. daugh-ters. Lueena and Christina. Mrs. Skelton had made her home In Salt Lake for the past three years and died suddenly while on a visit to relatives rela-tives in Tooele. Besides her children, Mrs. Skelton left the following brothers and sisters: John A., Joseph, Archibald and Amos Bevan, Mrs. Mary 'Mahnkin of Twin Falls, Idaho; Violet B. Johnson, Salt Lake; Isabella Elklngton, Sarah Bates and Mrs. Charles Bollschweiler of Tooele. Mrs. Skelton had hosts of warm friends in this city and Salt Lake. |
