The marriage of Miss Melba Read, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. S. Read, and Raymond W. Jones, son of Commissioner Commis-sioner and Mrs. M. L. Jones, was solemnized sol-emnized Wednesday in the Salt Lake temple. Friday evening a reception was given in their honor at the home of the bride's parents, 1110 Washington avenue. Assisting in receiving were Mr. and Mrs. M. L. Jones, Mrs. Preston Badger and Mrs. Leslie Tl. Van Dyke. A color effect in pink and white prevailed throughout the rooms, ases of carnations being effectively ef-fectively arranged.
