Show EXPERTS ARRANGE GRAZING LECTURES Examirjer of Forest Service and Animal Ani-mal Industry Kepresentative to Visit Central Utah Towns. Grazing Kxaminer Mark Anderson, connected with the Ogden office of the forest service, will go to Sanpete county coun-ty next Thursday to begin a series of lectures on grazing management and improved methods in handling stock on the farm and in the national forests. Ho will be accompanied by Dr. Dallas of the bureau of animal industry, who will discuss the work and results of the bureau's investigation in connection with diseases of livestock. The communities select ed for these lectures arc central points in localities wherein these subjects are of prime interest and importance, and all stock-raisers, stock-raisers, either on a largo or small scale, will undoubtedly be glad to take advantage ad-vantage of the opportunity offered by such a peries of discussions. Owing largely to their lack of opportunity op-portunity to become thoroughly familiar fa-miliar with the great improvements wrought during the past few years, the ptoekraisers of central Utah have been somewhat slow in adopting tho more efficient methods of handling stock now in vocue throughout most of the intermounrain region. The series of lectures announced is intended to rented rent-ed v this condition, and is bound to re- suit in close and effective co operation between the people and the organized agencies working fr the increased welfare wel-fare of the stO'-kraisinp industry. |
