Show REPORT THEFTS TO POLICE DEPARTMENT Two Automobiles Taken During Evening, Even-ing, but Both Are Eecovered Later On. Mrs. J. C Lynch, 1167 East South Temple Tem-ple street, reported to the police at 9:15 o'clock last night that within the hour her Bulck runabout had been stolen from in front of St Mary's Catholic cathedral. Three hours later Officers Egbert and Woodard found the car on Third West, between be-tween First and Second North streets. It had been run nearly "dry," but was not damaged, and was returned at once to the Lynch home. Shortly before 10 o'clock W. F. Lvman, 38 D street, reported the theft of his Ford touring car. At a late hour It was recovered at Fifth South and State streets. At 9 o'clock last night Mrs. T. Croft, residing: In the Nelson apartments, reported re-ported that a burglar had gained entrance by opening a rear window and made away with two diamond rings. Officers Glenn and Brown are working on the case. The jewelry" which Mrs. C. Hansen, residing re-siding in the Nelson apartments, reported stolen Saturday night was recovered by Officers Glenn and Brown within two hours. The booty had been wrapped in a package and was found in an alley near the apartments, it having presumably presum-ably been dropped by the burglar in his flight from the premises. |
