The Royal Baking company was host at a nicely appointed, sumptuous banquet ban-quet spread in the Koyal cafe Sunday, given to its big corps of bakers and salesmen. sales-men. The occasion 'was a get-together meeting with the president, George Mueller. Muel-ler. After the. feasting, short talks were given. Mr. Mueller expressed his appreciation appre-ciation of the co-opeartion that had been given by his employees during 1016, especially es-pecially because the time had heen rather rath-er precarious for the baking industry, owing to the constant advances that had been made in the cost of Hour. He reported re-ported a gratifying increase in business, and as a substantial "thank you" for the assistance given by his men in bringing this about he presented each member of the sales force with a cash bonus for rork well done. After Mr. Mueller's good wishes for the new year, short talks were given by Malcolm Mal-colm McAllister, who handles all the advertising ad-vertising for the Royal Baking company; by Simon Neeleman, superintendent of drivers of the Royal's automobile delivery deliv-ery system: by Fred Atkinson, superintendent superin-tendent shipping department: by Herman Kratzer, master baker, and by Fritz Boede, the company's secretary. Professor Profes-sor Alolf Lauberngaier furnished music for the occasion. |
