Show BLENROGK OIL 1 MERGER POINTS:! I! TO OTHERS - The merger under tho con'rate narrf) of the Cdenrock Oil company; with a capi- ; talization of f 10,000. 00(. of the Hall Oil j company, the Pilot Butte Oil company, 1 the Superior Petroleum company and the Glcnrock Petroleum company, together with the Xorbeck & Nicholson holdings in the Pilot Butte field, points the way to several other combinations of concerns of more or less prominence in the oil industry in-dustry in Wyoming which are in contemplation. contem-plation. ' This m e r ge r , w h 1c h was e f f e c t e d in August, involved producing companies only and made one of the strongest concerns con-cerns in the state, and assures dividends j to shareholders in all of them, whereas under separate management it is possible possi-ble that a majority would not in years have derived any profits. This big company, the third in sic in Wyoming, does no drilling on company com-pany account, but has effected arrangements arrange-ments for the development and operation opera-tion of its holdings with the Midwest Refining Re-fining company on its Pilot Put to acreage acre-age and with the Ohio Oil company on its lands in the Big Muddy field. The merger of these producing interests inter-ests wns followed this month by the organization or-ganization of the Consolidated Royalty company, into which were merged the Royalty company, the Tisdale Royalty company and the Grass Crook Oil and Gas company, together with most of the roya Ities belonging to tho Stocks Oil company in the sensational Salt Creek field. The new company is capitalized at $3,000,030. of which 32,000,00 is retained in the treasury, and it derives its earnings earn-ings from royalties in Salt Creek, Tis- I dale. Big iluddy and Grass Creek. Its management has announced that it will go on a dividend basis of 8 per cent immediately. im-mediately. These combinations have greatly strengthened the positions of the merged properties and it is certain that several others will be effected before long, as there are, in the multiplicity of concerns that have entered the held, many which have the acreage and lack funds for proper develooment, and many others which have the money, but are without acreage in proved districts. |
