Show Soldiers Tie Harvard. AVER, Mass., Oct. 27. The depot brigade football team at Camp Devens fought the Harvard informal eleven to a stalemate today, neither team being able to score. The army team, coached by Charley Coolidge, Harvard's star and in the days of Brickley, Hard wick and Mahan, played a slashing game in the line, but showed lack of practice. Even H or ween. Harvard's backfield star and a power fnl line breaker, was unable to penetrate the depot brigade's defense, and the longest gain made by the Crimson was one of ten yards. |
