While in the east Dr. Wriffht will attend the clinics of several noted surgical institutions. A marriapre license was issued the first of the week to Leonard D. Young and Ethel I. Ray, both of Salt Lake City. The Frklav night hop arranged by the social committee of the Idaho Technical Institute, of which Professor Norman H. Adkison is chairman, was an enjoyable ,a flair. Plans have been made by the 'committee for a social evening tot be held in the gymnasium every other Friday evening and all former students and friendd are made welcome. Thursday evening the Fraternal Order of Uailes- gave an enjoyable dancing party at the Eagles' hall on North Arthur avenue. 11 rs. C. Esla brook and Mrs. George Est a brook of Eugene. The freshman class of the high school entertained al an enjoyable masquerade party at the Owl's Nest Friday evening. Saturday evening the 10 B. soeiety, of which Miss Bessie Baird is president, also enjoyed an invitational masquerade party at the same plaee. Mrs. B. Bcndixsen and daughter. Bertha, Ber-tha, of Alexander made a short visit with relatives in this city during the week. Next Wednesday evening a Hallowe'en masquerade bail will be given by the Yeomen guards' drill tenm at the Mo-Nichols Mo-Nichols & Wright hall. Some fancy drills will be put on and a special programme pro-gramme presented. The third of a series of dances bv the Pocatello Civic club took jdace Friday evening at Commercial elun hall. The affair af-fair was well at tended and will add a substantial sum to the Red Cross fund. Friday afternoon Mrs. S. - S. Ferguson and Mis. F. f. Rodgers entertained at the home of 51 ra. Feiguson on South Eighth avenue at a Tied Cross tea, the proceeds of whieh - will be used, to provide Christinas Christ-inas outfits for the hoys at tiie front. Mrs. P. li. Hicks and family who have been visiting during the past week with Mrs. G. Edward tVhacffer and Miss Myra Kane, have gone on to California, where they will spend some time before returning re-turning to their home at Madison. Wis. |
