Show BOISE BUSINESS MEN BANQUET SECRETARY Special to The Tribune. BOISE. Idaho, Aug. 16. The Boise Commercial club said farewell to its secretary. sec-retary. Richard W. fluids, at a special "Childs" luncheon given in his honor today. Mr. Childs has accepted a position posi-tion as manager of the Portland hotel, taking up his new duties September 1. He leaves tomorrow, accompanied by his mother, for a vacation trip through the Yellowstone National park. There were 150 business and professional profes-sional men in attendance at the noonday noon-day luncheon to say good -by to Secrets Secre-ts ry Childs, who served four years as secretary. He was presented with a handsome gold watch and chain and a gold -hand led umbrella. Mr. Childs came to Idaho from New York, where he was engaged in the 1 bankfng business. lie was secretary of ! the Wendell Commercial cluh before ac-I ac-I cepting the secretaryship of the Boise ! club. |
