Having cut one fissure showing ore that ra.11 approximately $40 to the ton, the Cottonwood Metals Mining company, the property of which is located in the Big Cottonwood district, is engaged in driving the main tunnel ahead, according accord-ing to H. The main tunnel is now in beyond the 300-foot point and has attained a vertical verti-cal depth of approximately 300 feet from the surface. With any round it is expected ex-pected to open tho ( 'ongor fissure and later on the Copper King fissure and the Contention fissure, which fissure is the objective of the present work. All of these fissures have ore showings on the surface and will be cut at considerable depth. Laterals will be driven to explore ex-plore them after they have been encountered. encoun-tered.
