Show TRYING TO IMPROVE LIGHTING OF SCHOOLS That the school officials of the district j boards outside of tiie cities are co-operating in every possible manner with the state school buildings commission in the campaign for efficient lighting of schoolrooms school-rooms is the statement of R. C. Walking, architect in charge. Only recently word was sent out to the school hoards, calling attention to the fact that frequently pupils sitting in close proximity to the windows were over-flooded over-flooded with light, whereas those farther away were under the handicap of having too little light. The cause was given as the failure properly to adjust the window screens from the top. Consequently- a suggest ion was made that a frosted glass cheap in constituents and which may be applied by the janitor, be used on' the upper half of the window.
