SEARLE, a well known retired .business man of this city, celebrated the eighty -first anniversary of his birth at 1S15 Lake street yesterda' afternoon and evening. In addition to a literary and musical programme, an elaborate banquet was served. At the banquet table in addition addi-tion to a number of close friends, four generations of the Searle family were represented. They iucluded K. C. A. Searlse, A. H. Searle, K. H. Searle and Baby Mary L. Searle. Mr. Searle was born in England and came to Salt Lake City about sixteen vears ago. .For some time thereafter he operated a store on the west side, but ho retired from active business some years ago. |
