Lemon of Willard was hilled bv a vi cious bull at his home last evening between be-tween and 9 o clock by being pawed to death by the enraged animal Mr Lemon had just finished a trip through h s pastures with a state milch cow in spector and while the two ware together to-gether the animal while not acting in a friendly manner did not molest them Finishing the nspection Mr Lemon returned re-turned to the house and the state in bpeetor went his way Something in tho pasture however demanded Immediate Imme-diate attention by Mr Lemon, and leav ing the house just aa Mrs Lemon an nounced supper he said that he would return at once, but did not say where he was going Nothing more was seen of h m alive Becoming alarmed at her husband s long absence Mrs. Lemon set out to look for him This was about 9 o clock, and to her horror upon near ng the cor ral she saw the enraged bui pawing awav at an object outside the wire fence surrounding the corral, anl upon neanng the object saw the d m outline of her husband s body He was dead having been pawed to death bj the am mal It is supposed that upon f rst be lag attacked bv the animal Mr Lemon was severely injured but was able to get through the wire fence where he dropped near enough to permit the anl mal to cont nue ta deadly attack by putting its head through the top strands of wire and its front feet through the bottom strands. When the wife ap proaced the corral the animal was etui pawing the bodv fiercelv Mrs. Lemon tmroed atelv summoned help the infuriated bull was beaten away and the body of Mr Lemon was taken to the home The animal a Holstein thoroughbred was owned jointly bv MY Lemon and Mr Hnbbard Leas than a rear ago Mr Hubbard was attacked bv the am mal and verv nairowl escaped serious njurv and perhaps death S nee that time t was found that Mr Lemon could better control the animal and he had been in charge of it since A A Lemon was one of the most prominent men in W Hard and a brother n law to Tountv Attornev Will am J Lowe of th s c ty He has resided n Willard three years prior to wh ch he was a res dent of Parad se.
