Ii was then that Osa flrd the fatal shot. Pedro Yriporas and Evarlsto Tilleria, friends of Osa, corroborated the story of the rooming-house proprietor in every particular. They are being held as wit- , nesses. The police were notified Immediately after the shooting and went to the scene in two automobiles. Osa surrendered himself him-self without a word, except that he made an explanation as to the shooting, which was corroborated by Yrigoras and Tilleria. Tille-ria. Osa is being held pending an examination. exam-ination. The body of the unidentified burglar was taken from the sidewalk and transferred trans-ferred to the morgue of S. D. Evans. The dead man was well dressed and also wore a pair of new kid gloves. A cigar was found clutched in his hand when he was picked up from the sidewalk by the police. According to Sergeant Olsen, he warned the man two hours preceding the killing, when he found him quarreling with a Korean at Second South and Main streets.
