After a conference con-ference with Secretary McAdoo today. Chairman Kitchln of the house ways and means committee announced that the Democrats would p,ut through congress before the Christmas receas a bill to continue con-tinue the emergency war revenue law, which would expire by limitation December De-cember 31. Mr. Kitchln said the repeal of the free i sugar clause of the Underwood tariff law might be considered at the aaine time, 'although it has been understood that the administration's general revenue measures might noL be taken up until after the holidays. The emergency tax law probably will he extended for a year.
