Show GREAT DECREASE IN YEAR'S IMMIGRATION Federal Department of Statistics Makes Report Which Shows Falling Off in Aliens Received. Immigration to the Unifcd States fiur-inp fiur-inp the fiscal year 1015 wan tho lowest of any year in the past seventeen, according ac-cording to a report issued by the bureau of immigration of the United States department de-partment of statistics. During the year onlv '20,700 immigrants wre admitted, as against 1,218,40 in 1914; 1,197,92 in 1913, and 83S,172 in 1!U2. The last year in "which the immigration wan low er than in 19jo was 1899, whnn the total to-tal number of immigrants admitted into the United States was 311,715. For the fiscal year 1914 204,074 aliens departed from this eountrv, as comparer! with 30.3,338 the year before. During the first ten months of 1915, including October, the total number or alien and citizen steerage arrivals at the port of New York was 83. ("'Hi, as compared with 427,34fi in ten months of 014.
