Show CARELESSNESS FOUND BY BOARD OF INQUIRY Carelessness on the part of the oceu pants of the wagon the Oregon Short Line board of inquiry decided jesrtrday afternoon, was the cause of the accident at the Thirteenth South street crossing last Sunday morning when a milk wagons occupied by William. Hanson and B J Maddox was demolished bv yard extra 4713 The board decided that although the morning was extremely foggj If the occupants of the wagon had taken the necessary precautions before attempting to cross Ute tracks the approaching train would have been observed The testimony showed that the engine bell was ringing constantly and that the whistle was sounded properly for the crossing The crew of the extra was ex onerated. The board was composed of the follow lng persons O K Pratt representing the public O E.
