Show TO 0PE1 CIPI1 WITH IW MEETIHG Woodrow Wilson Club Plans Demonstration; Progressives Pro-gressives Also Move. Special to The Tribune. OGDEN, Sept. 20. The fall campaign in Weber county will open in earnest with music and oratory Wednesday evening, even-ing, when a mass meeting will be held in the Weber county courthouse. While this meeting will be held for the purpose , of introducing the candidates on the joint Democratic and Progressive ticket, it will also mark the permanent reorganization reor-ganization of the Woodrow Wilson Democratic Demo-cratic club. Mathoniah Thomas of Salt Lake will be : the principal speaker. Music will be , furnished by a band and the Progressive i male quartette. Chairman W. H. Lowder will preside until the election of a permanent per-manent president of the reorganized club. Charles Ramy, temporary president of the Woodrow Wilson club, declared today to-day that the membership of the organization organi-zation has reached the 500 mark and said all of the membership rolls have not yet been turned in. The Progressives, according to County Chairman F. J. Hendershot, axe preparing prepar-ing for an active campaign. The organization or-ganization of a quartette under the leadership of Ben Critchlow U part of their publicity campaign. |
