Show BRITISH OFFICERS SN CASUALTY LIST Notable Names Among the Killed; Kaiser William's Fourth Son Hit. LONDON, Sept. 20, 9:20 p. m. A casualty list made public tonight by the war office again shows a large j number of officers ameng the killed, ; wounded or missing. Sixteen officers j are reported killed, thirty-eight wound- 1 ed and ten missing. The famous Coldstream guards and the Black Watch regiments were among the sufferers, the former having thirteen thir-teen men wounded or missing and the latter, ten wounded or miesiog. Among the wounded is Lord James Thomas Stewart-Murray, son of the duke of Atholl. He is a captain of the Queen 's Own Cameron Highlanders and won both the king's and queen's medals for bravery in tho South African Afri-can war. He is 36 years old. Others reported wounded are the Hon. Fitzroy Richard Somerset and the Hon. Nigel Fitzroy Somerset, respectively, respec-tively, the eldest and the third sone of Lord Raglan, and Major, the Hon. Alfred Al-fred Henrv Maitland. third son of tho earl of Lauderdale. |
