Show PUGNACITY LEADS TO WRONG FELLOW Mixup Between Dogs Brings Owners Together, but One Retreats Upon Further Acquaintance. In the future a certain Salt Laker tvit h rather pugilistic tendencies will look befure he leaps when, seeking trouble. A certain young man of the tender age of 17 years was on the bill last week at the Empress. His name was Orville Stamm and those who saw the show will remember hira as the lad who lifted horses aud pianos and displayed much muscle and manly strength. iStarnm left Salt Lake yesterday morning. But before he went he de-cided de-cided to show the city sights to his favorite bull pup. The pup probably relied on his master's strength to get him out of trouble, for when he saw another dog of the same breed he started start-ed a fight. Stamm ran after his dog and iu separating them was forced to whip both his own dog and the other one. The other dog was owned by the above mentioned Salt Laker who was riding a horse and declared in somewhat some-what heated terms that he would beat certain things out of young Stamm. Stamm then introduced himself and the pugilistic oue who had attended the show, retreated to his horse in haste. |
