Show SPARKUNG EVENTS SET FOR DECEMBER AT GEMMELL CLUB The R. C. Gemmell club has set up a tentative holiday entertainment enter-tainment program for the month of December as follows, according accord-ing to announcement of W. Russell Rus-sell Anderson, entertainment chairman: Picture show, Monday and Tuesday, December 4 and 5, "Angels Wash Their Dirty Faces" with Ann Sheridan and the Dead End Kids, a picture of merit; Note: Due to a change in theatre schedules show days for this month are Monday and Tuesday, with hours as listed: Monday 3:30-6-8-10 p. m.; Tuesday Tues-day 12:30-5-7-9 p. m. All club members should encourage their children to attend the 3:30 show in order to allow seating room for adults at evening ev-ening shows. Dance, Waltz Night, Saturday, December 9, from 9:30 p. m. to 12:30 midnight, music to be announced an-nounced later; Note: By popular request every - other dance will be a waltz with absolutely no jitterbug jit-terbug rhythms. From now on Waltz Night jitterbugs will be barred from the floor. Please come with that idea in mind. Picture show, Monday and Tuesday, December 18 and 19, with hours corresponding to shows on December 4 and 5 as listed above, "Four Feathers", a massive production. Grand Christmas Ball, Monday, Mon-day, December 25; Gala New Years party, Monday, Mon-day, January 1, at 12:01 a. m. Please be at the club at 11:00 p. m. December 31 for dancing until morning. Make your plans now for a real party. |
