DiBcuss Water Problems. Special to Tho Tribune. PROVO, Jan. 30. President Joseph R. Murdock and Engineer Caleb Tannor of the Provo Reservoir company met today with the city commission and City Engineer Engi-neer George C. Swan, as representatives of tho company have met with other water-using associations, for tho purpose of agreeing upon questions relative to tho use and distribution of the water of Provo Pro-vo river, the acreage for which each company com-pany or association is entitled to water, the duty of the water, methods and supervision super-vision and distribution. The theory on which the reservoir company is proceeding proceed-ing Is that certain questions can be settled set-tled between the company and other water users, before taking the case into court for adjudication of all tho rights of tho parties In Interest, and that the greater the number of questions settled by mutual agreement the less the time and expense that will be required for court procedure.
